I would like to take a few minutes to introduce myself to you… I am Chef Marco from Marco’s Kitchen.

Life is hard, the pandemic is frightening, and the world is unstable. In the past, I’ve always heard people say what doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger. I can now say, this statement is completely true.

For the first time in my life, I feel that I am exactly where I am supposed to be. I am working with my incredible and very dedicated staff and together we’ve just passed out over 425 fresh produce bags to very friendly and thankful faces. The emails, the signs, the telephone calls and the reviews of what we’re doing fill my heart with joy. Again, this is exactly where I am supposed to be… helping people from a distance.

Admittedly, I was anxious, nervous and afraid to open a restaurant in the middle of a pandemic. I knew deep down that I had to dive in headfirst to help my neighbors. We began offering low cost family dinners to the residents of La Grange… this quickly became very successful. My staff of four people worked tirelessly to provide hundreds of wholesome, made from scratch meals to families in the area. We streamlined our menus to make ordering easy and fast.

We are going to see quite a few changes to the restaurant industry in the coming months. Rest assured, we will follow all government safety guidelines. Right now, let’s beat this thing, hold our heads high, smile to one another and help each other out from a distance.

Thank you, La Grange for the incredible opportunity to provide fresh, healthy food to this community. We are proud to call La Grange our home and can’t wait until the day we can welcome you into our beautiful dining room.
